A guided process to help you move again, regain some calm and return to what matters to you – even if you’ve been in pain for a long time and feel that nothing really works.
We’ll reply personally to answer your questions and decide together on the next step.

Does this sound like you?

You’ve been in pain for months or years and it feels like it’s gone on for far too long.
Your everyday life – work, family, hobbies, sport – is limited by pain.
You’ve tried different treatments and changes, but nothing really lasts.
You’d like a clear explanation and a structured way forward instead of jumping from one thing to another.
You don’t need to know exactly where your pain is coming from. That’s our job.

What is Reconecta?

Reconecta is Weheal’s flagship programme for people living with long-lasting pain who feel that their life has slowly started to shrink around their symptoms.

It’s not a miracle treatment, a support group or “just another pack of sessions”. It’s a 12-week process with a clear structure and close guidance that combines:

Pain education based on modern neuroscience, explained in clear, everyday language.
Varied, tailored therapeutic exercise to rebuild strength, mobility and confidence.
Ongoing support so that the changes we work on in the clinic show up in your real life, not just on the treatment table.

Our goal isn’t to promise that your pain will “disappear”, but to help you regain direction, confidence and movement, so you can go back to doing the things that matter to you with less fear.

A glimpse of Reconecta in real life

Reconecta is not just a concept – it’s real conversations, real movement and a guided process that we build together.

One-to-one conversations in a calm, respectful environment to help you feel heard and understood.

Who is this programme for?

Reconecta is designed for people who recognise themselves in some of these statements:

I’ve been in pain for months or years and it’s gone on for far too long.
My pain stops me from living my normal life – work, family, sport, hobbies…
I’ve tried different treatments and approaches, but nothing seems to work in a stable way.
I feel I’m going from one treatment to another without a clear plan.
I’d like to stop living around the pain and get some space back.

You don’t need to be sure where your pain is coming from. You only need to feel that you don’t want to keep going like this, and that you’re willing to commit to a structured process.

How does Reconecta work?

A 12-week process in four main steps.

Initial questionnaire

A simple online form where you tell us who you are, what your pain is like and what you’re looking for. It helps us orient you, answer your questions and see if the programme seems like a good fit for you right now – without going into full clinical detail yet.

Individual assessment (1 hour)

The first clinical session with your physiotherapist. We look in detail at your history, your symptoms, your concerns and your goals.
Before this session – and only once we’ve both agreed that Reconecta seems like a good fit – you’ll receive a more detailed assessment questionnaire. Filling it in beforehand gives us a more complete picture of your situation, so that during the session we can focus on listening to you, clarifying your story and planning your programme together, instead of spending most of the time collecting basic data.

Phase 1 – Pain education

5 weeks with 1 weekly 90-minute session to understand what may be happening for pain to stay for so long, and what you can start doing differently in your everyday life.

Phase 2 – Varied therapeutic exercise

7 weeks with 2 therapeutic exercise sessions per week (1 hour each), where we work on progressive and varied movement to rebuild strength, mobility and confidence. At the end, we have an individual closing session.

Phase 1 · Understanding pain to regain control
5 weeks · 1 weekly session of 90 minutes

In this phase we focus on something essential: helping you understand what is going on in your body and nervous system when pain stays for a long time.

We talk about:
How pain works from a neuroscience perspective, using clear examples.
Why pain can persist for months or years.
The role of movement, rest, stress and attention in your symptoms.
How to distinguish between signals that require immediate action and signals that we may interpret differently.
Practical tools you can use in your day-to-day life to manage symptoms better.
Important: these sessions are not group therapy and you don’t have to share your personal story. You’re welcome to ask questions, but you won’t be asked to talk about your case in front of everyone. The focus is on giving you knowledge and tools.
Phase 2 · Varied, tailored therapeutic movement
7 weeks · 2 weekly sessions of 60 minutes

Long-lasting pain often comes with fear of movement, stiffness, loss of strength and a feeling of “I just can’t do it anymore”. This phase is where we work on that.

Progressive, varied therapeutic exercise designed for your situation.
Adapted to your current level and circumstances – no unrealistic demands.
A mix of strength, mobility, balance and tolerance to effort.
Always supervised and in a safe environment.
It’s not about pushing hard at all costs, but about reconnecting with movement in a kind yet consistent way, so that your body and nervous system can gradually regain confidence.

Choose the format that suits you best

In the individual assessment we’ll decide together which option makes the most sense for you right now.

Why a 12-week programme?

We build a solid base of understanding.
We introduce real changes in your movement and daily routines.
We have enough time to try, adjust, repeat and consolidate.
We are there for the good days and the difficult ones.

Reconecta is not a “pack of sessions”. It’s a process designed so that what happens here has an impact out there, in your real life.

What can you expect from the process?

A clearer understanding of what may be going on and why the pain has stayed.
Less fear of movement and a gradual return to activities you had given up.
A professional who listens to you, guides you and walks alongside you.
A sense of having more tools to manage your symptoms.
Improved physical capacity in a progressive, realistic way.
Less feeling of “being lost” between treatments and more sense of direction.

Every person is different and there are no universal guarantees, but we can offer you honest, respectful care based on what we currently know about pain and movement.

First step: the initial questionnaire

Because pain that has been with you for a long time doesn’t usually change overnight. Your nervous system, your body and your habits need time and repetition to learn something new.

Once we receive it:

We’ll review your answers personally.
We’ll get back to you to answer your questions.
If the programme seems right for you, we’ll book your individual assessment session and send you the full assessment questionnaire.

Two questionnaires, two very different purposes

We use two questionnaires at different moments of the process, and we want to be very clear about why:

Initial questionnaire

A short contact form so we can understand your situation in broad strokes, answer your questions and see whether Reconecta seems like a good fit for you.

Assessment questionnaire

Only once we both agree to start the programme will you receive a more detailed clinical questionnaire. This helps us get a more complete picture of your situation before we meet.

That way, we can use your first assessment session to really listen to you, clarify your story and start shaping your programme together – instead of spending most of the time collecting basic information.
