Home physiotherapy

Professional treatment in the comfort of your own home.
For people who need safe, personalised care without having to travel to the clinic.
We come to your home to provide physiotherapy based on movement, therapeutic exercise and clear explanations. No waiting rooms, no rush, and enough time to listen to you and adapt the treatment to your real everyday environment.

Who is home physiotherapy for?

For people who need the same quality of care as in the clinic, but with the peace of mind of staying at home.

Older adults who want to stay active and safe, but find it difficult to travel to the clinic.

Patients after surgery or hospital stay (joint replacements, fractures, immobilisations…) in their early recovery phase.

People with reduced mobility or difficulty walking long distances or climbing stairs.

Acute pain episodes (low back pain, neck pain, sprains…) where travelling to the clinic is very uncomfortable.

Families who need support to organise exercises, safe transfers and daily routines at home.

What we aim for in each visit

Assess your situation in your real environment: bed, sofa, chairs, steps, bathroom, etc.

Reduce pain when possible and, above all, improve function.

Design exercises and adaptations you can integrate into your daily routines at home.

Give confidence to family members or caregivers, answering questions and teaching how to help safely.

How does the home physiotherapy service work?

A simple, clear process with no surprises.

Initial contact

You call or write to us and briefly explain what is happening and where you would need us to come (area, type of home, access, etc.).

Basic screening

We ask you a few key questions (by phone or message) to make sure home physiotherapy is appropriate and safe in your situation.

First home visit

We carry out a more detailed assessment: mobility, strength, pain and how you manage essential tasks at home (getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, walking indoors, etc.).

Plan and follow-up

Together we define a plan: number of sessions, goals and exercises. At each visit we review your progress and adapt the treatment according to how you are doing day by day.

What can we work on during a home visit?

Back, neck and shoulder pain (low back pain, neck pain, painful shoulder, etc.).Back, neck and shoulder pain (low back pain, neck pain, painful shoulder, etc.).

Knee, hip and ankle pain, osteoarthritis, consequences of falls or sprains.

Recovery after fractures or immobilisation (casts, braces, prolonged rest).

Gait and balance retraining to reduce the risk of falls.

Strength and mobility programmes for older or frail adults.

What equipment do we use?

Most interventions can be carried out with simple portable equipment (resistance bands, small weights, balls, etc.) and by using your own furniture (chair, bed, table…).
We adapt to the space and conditions of your home, always explaining how to use what you already have to move more and move better.

What makes Weheal home physiotherapy different?

It is not just about “bringing the treatment table to your home”. Our home visits follow the same philosophy as in the clinic: movement, adapted therapeutic exercise and education, so that you understand what is going on and what you can do yourself.
During the sessions we help you find the safest and most efficient ways to get up, walk, sit down or move around the house. If you feel more pain after some exercises, we interpret it with you: when it is a normal response of the body, when it makes sense to slow down a bit and how to adjust the load without fear, but with common sense.
Our aim is not only to “do things with you” during the session, but to leave you and your family with clear tools so that you know how to continue between visits, with small changes that add up in everyday life.
